The Money Drop is a branded game based on the television program, The Million Pound Drop that is playing on UK television on Channel 4 at the moment. The game has previously been launched in more than 17 different countries, including the US, Albania, Australia, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain, Turkey and the Ukraine.
The game is played with four trapdoors that hold the answers to each question. The contestants need to place their money on one of the answers or they can spread the money across the trapdoors. If they are wrong, their money will fall through the trapdoor and will be lost.
